Debit Card is an important adherence of daily life in Dhaka. Specially for the middle class people like me who tries to save a little bit money in the morning but he bound to withdraw a portion of his saved amount in the evening. Again he tries to save a percentage of his withdrawn amount the next day though he again has to withdraw some of amount within few days.
I have recently got a debit card of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited to withdraw some amount from an account. I went to the ring road booth on 29th May 2015 and found the booth out of service. Again I went there in the next day evening and again found out of service. Lastly I got success to withdraw the amount on 31st May 2015 at evening. As I work in an office far from my residence so, I have to go to the booth in the evening in most times. I do not know the situation of the booth at the day time. Again I had to withdraw some amount at 9.30 pm on 1st June 2015 and found the booth out of service as usual.
There are no other booth of the bank within a limited distance. There is another one, but I have to pay minimum 50 taka as rickshaw rent with an uncertainty of 'out of service'. So, I gave up the try for withdrawal of amount from the booth and I had to borrow from one of my colleague's house at 10.00 pm of night.
