I shared my news with Facebook friends and mailed to minimum 150 businessmen with the news of the success of the blind SSC examinees.
My message was , '
Seven blind girls and boys continuing their school education under educational program of of Assistance for Blind Children (ABC) appeared at the S.S.C. examination held in 2015. All seven passed the exam and four got grade point more than 4.5
Major portion of this educational program is supported by donation of generous individual and institutions.'
My Facebook friends liked my status almost all of them. We got quickest response from Mutual Trust Bank Communication Department. They asked for the mobile numbers and addresses of the blind students who got success in the SSC exam. We also provided those within the possible shortest time. Now Mutual Trust Bank has already taken a decision to honour the successful blind S.S.C. examinees through a small ceremony which is scheduled for 8th June 2015.
I am really astonished with the quick response and prompt decision making process of the Mutual Trust Bank. I am grateful to them on behalf of the Blind Successful S.S.C. Examinees. I humbly remind the readers of this blog/article that the number of blind successful S.S.C. examinees are only seven and there are more 74 blind students still with us reading in several classes in seven hotels all over the Bangladesh. They get food, lodging, clothing, treatment, educational materials etc and all of the expenses are born by the donations/ Zakat given by the philanthropic, generous, kind hearted people and also from the corporate social responsibility fund of financial institutions.
